Sustainability
Workshops and lectures
Law can only become accessible if it remains so in the long term and on a sustainable basis.
We would like to offer our target group opportunities to expand and deepen their knowledge through workshops and lectures. A recurring training program will be developed in which people of all ages and backgrounds can participate. The training program will consist of various contents on the general legal system in Germany, but specific aspects of police law will also be covered in depth. For the first training programs offered, we will establish a focus group that will help us track the progress and effectiveness of the program and KYRI itself.
To accommodate those who do not have the opportunity to attend a regular training program, we will offer sporadic discussion sessions and lectures by experts and our members. This will also enable newcomers to get a first insight into our work.
INCLUSIVITY
Various written materials
Accessibility has a different meaning for everyone, we want to be inclusive.
In order to expand the accessibility of our educational work and also to disseminate it more widely, written materials are published. These materials are characterized by three features: Language, form and content.
The materials offer the possibility to understand the legal language. Linguistically, the materials are not only written in plain German, but are also offered in other languages such as Arabic, Spanish, etc.
The form of the content is particularly variable, making the materials suitable for any situation. They range from detailed brochures to small and short flyers that you can always carry in your (pants) pocket.
In terms of content , the materials firstly teach the basics of the legal system. This results in sustainable educational work from which the participating persons can benefit in the long term. Secondly, the written material includes the content of the workshops and training programs mentioned above.
Attainability
Distribution and dissemination
Not everyone has access to the Internet, and we are aware of that.
KYRI pursues the overarching goal of legal accessibility by providing targeted information in places where internet access is difficult or impossible, such as reception centers for refugees and other facilities for disadvantaged groups. This strategy ensures that the information is accessible both online and offline. KYRI is thus committed to inclusive accessibility to ensure that people in different life situations can easily access important legal information, regardless of their digital connectivity.
